heres a little tale.
for weeks now, i have been getting emails from newton abbot(it's in Devon) swim club.
I ignored it for a while.
after umpteenth email recieved.
telling about Newton abbot Swim Club minutes,
I grew tired of this. and so fired of this email to the person who sent it.

"could you please remove my email address from this list, as I have no idea why I am receiving this email.
I live in london, which is quite some way from Newton Abbott, So why would I want a copy of your swim club meets,
Please remove (my email address)

newton Abbot swim club minutes 5 days after I asked me to be removed.

I then sent another email asking to be removed from the list,
But recieved this.

Apologies for this - I got your earlier e mail but hadn't managed to work out the problem.. We have a member called "x xxxxxx who told me he'd changed internet provider to xxxxxxxxxx and that his new e mail address was xxxxx@xxxxx etc.,

I now understand that he couldn't have that address (presumably because already allocated to you) so he has changed it to another one. Unfortunately I am not psychic and as he didn't tell me about this 2nd change he was still in my address book as per the above.

I find the tone of your email very rude for what was a genuine mistake not of my making. Perhaps you should complain to xxxxxx for letting 2 users being set up with same email account.
